The Indonesian-Danish Water Days 2010 will focus on the actual challenges and opportunities that the current situation presents.
The Danish side will present Danish high-technology solutions in areas such as water distribution management, energy efficiency in water supply systems, water quality and general water resource management.
The increasing attention to the water and wastewater sector also makes cooperation very attractive from a business perspective, and the event will highlight the opportunities for partnerships between Indonesian and Danish companies.
The seminar seeks to emphasise the various advantages that both countries can gain in exploring cooperation on commercial terms.
The Danish delegation represents six Danish companies offering world-class products, technology, services and know-how. The companies are: Grundfos Pumps Indonesia Ltd, Danish Water Forum (DWF), Odense Water Ltd., AVK International, the DGE Group and WTC.
The Indonesian-Danish Water Days 2010 begins in Jakarta with a seminar, focus groups and business-to-business meetings and continues in Surabaya with a seminar and business-to-business meetings.
The Minister for Public Works, the Honourable Minister Ir. Djoko Kirmanto, is scheduled to open the seminar in Jakarta and present a key-note address. The honourable Governor of East Java, His Excellency Mr. Soekarwo is scheduled to open the seminar in Surabaya.
