Finnair Daily to Singapore from May Next Year

Next year, Finnair will resume its daily nonstop flights between Helsinki and Singapore with easy access from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Norrköping and Copenhagen. It will become one of the fastest connections between Europe and Singapore and the only daily connection between Singapore and northern Europe. Finnair stopped flying to Singapore on 15 May 2007.
 “Singapore is one of Asia’s most important destinations for business travelers,” says Finnair’s Sweden Head Matias Sarkkinen. 
 “Many multinational and Scandinavian companies operating in Asia have their offices there.”
 “Singapore is also a convenient gateway for transit to Australia, Southeast Asia and Oceania with oneworld partner Finnair.”
 Sarkkinen adds that Singapore’s Changi Airport has been ranked as one of the world’s best airports, and offers superb facilities and services, especially for business travelers. Finnair will fly its Airbus A340 on the route which will be assumed on May 30, 2011.
