Vestas announced an agreement with Ningxia Hanas New Energy Company from China, under which Vestas is to deliver, install and commission 49 MW of wind turbines. Vestas had already signed a supply contract with Ningxia Hanas New Energy, earlier this year.
The ordered capacity will be delivered through 25 V90-1.8/2.0 MW units, made for medium to low wind speed sites.
Under the contract, Vestas is to supply the turbines including towers, install and commisson them, including VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a two-year service and maintenance agreement.
The windfarm receiving these units is located in Huianbao, Ninghxia Hui Autonomous Region. The wind turbines are to be delivered in Q3 2010.
