The majorette from the city of Ruds Vedby paid a visit to the Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing on Monday 19 June where they gave an exclusive concert for Embassy employees and invited guests.
The Danish majorette “Ruds Vedby Garden” visited the Danish Embassy in Beijing as part of its 9-day tour to China. The majorette has performed at a number of locations around the country, including the Great Wall of China and now also the Danish Embassy.
At the Embassy, the majorette played several pieces of Danish music and judging from the reactions from the attending guests, it was very well received.
The members of the majorette are aged 10-25 and many of them were accompanied to China by their parents who had taken the opportunity to spend a part of their summer holiday in China. The majorette and the rest of the delegation will be heading home to Denmark on Wednesday 21 June.
