A new Collaboration Agreement Signed

The MOU will encompass staff exchanges, degree partnership programmes, student exchanges as well as collaboration in teaching, research, development, and consultancy studies. 


The signing ceremony was hosted by the Ambassador of Finland, his Excellency Mr. Tapio Saarela at his residence in Kuala Lumpur. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by vice president Lauri Tuomi from HAAGA-HELIA and professor Datuk Dr Ir Badaruddin Nordin from Lincoln College. The Guest-of-Honour at the signing was Y. Bhg. Datin Prof. Ir. Dr. Siti Hamisah, representing the Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia.


Lincoln College is a new partner for Finns. Earlier Finnish institutions of higher education have signed collaboration agreements with Universiti Sains Malaysia (Penang). There are around 130 Finnish exchange students visiting Malaysia every year.
