Jyske Bank to visit South East Asia again in April, May

Jyske Bank (Schweiz) will be on a tour to meet with investors in four South East Asian countries again, this time starting on April 19 with Singapore, then Thailand, Malaysia and ending the trip early May with Indonesia.
The team for the April-May 2004 trip consists of Ms. Mette Kraushaar, Mr. Helge Nielsen and Mr. Mads Schierup – the same team as in the earlier visit in November last year when they found the markets recovering.
“In November we expected the markets to recover slowly after years of turbulences. We have been proven right, the markets are recovering – but is it going too fast? And what about Asia? How can investors profit from this recovery?” Mads Schierup says.
The main topics to be covered this time will be these three issues. The bank will bring their expectations to the Asian markets together with the “Asian” products they are offering investors.
In October 2003 Jyske Bank introduced its Jyske Invest Chinese Equity Fund.
“This fund has already raised more than 30 percent,” Mads Schierup tells.
In Bangkok Jyske Bank will also host an evening on April 22 for members of the three Scandinavian chambers of commerce in Thailand. The rest of the programme are:

Singapore – April 19-21
Bangkok, Thailand – April 22-25
Pattaya, Thailand – April 26-27
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – April 29-May 1
Jakarta, Indonesia – May 2-3
Surabaya, Indonesia – May 4-5

For those who are interested in meeting with the bank’s representative and hear more about their Asian outlooks, please contact Mads Schierup who can be reached via telephone on +41 13 68 73 25 or by e-mail: [email protected].
