If you are planning on spending your Christmas holiday in Thailand, but do not have your flight ticket secured – this is the final call.
At Norwegian travel agency Ving, tickets from Oslo to Phuket around Christmas have been sold out for quite a while. Therefore Ving has chosen to arrange for an extra flight to depart on December 19.
And why not do it right. The aircraft will be of the type Airbus A330 carrying a total of 354 passengers.
“It is obvious that Norwegians have a special relationship with the country. We see that many people are returning. Thailand has something to offer everyone. It has friendly people, is a beautiful country and has a fantastic climate,” said Erlend Ellingsen, editor of the Travel Magazine, when Thailand in the beginning of 2010 was voted top tourist destination for Norway.
It is estimated that more than 150.000 Norwegians will visit Thailand this year, which is a noticeable increase from last year.
