Marine Farms starts up in Vietnam’s central province

A Norwegian-owned firm, Marine Farms ASA Co., Ltd. (Viet Nam), on December 21, 2003 started operating in the central province of Khanh Hoa, Vietnam.
     Marine Farms is specialized in producing fish fry for the export market. About 80 percent of its products will be exported to Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan and the US.
     This Norwegian investment of US$4.5 million is the 50th foreign-invested business in the province. The company is licensed for 40 years.
