The Asian leading budget airline says that it has sold a record-breaking 538,000 seats on the very first day of their campaign.
The ongoing promotion runs between August 10 to 15, 2010, and is applied to travels between April 1 and August 11, 2011.
Besides beating the world record for most sold seats in 24 hours, it also beat its own record of most seats sold in one hour by selling 36,871 – a 47.5 per cent increase from the previous record of 25,000 seats.
The promotion ends on Sunday, August 15.
