Danish Students Receive Chinese Science Prize

A study of four different substances abilities to counteract epilepsy has lead to a prize for the two Danes Aleta Miechels Pedersen and Mikkel Stoklund in Guangzhou, China.

The prize was given for “an extraordinarily high quality”, says The Danish Ministry of Education.

This happened af CASTIC, a yearly Chinese competition for talented young scientists.

“It has been a fantastisk experience to be a part of this and to meet talents from China and other countries. And it is great to get a pat on the shoulders for our project,” Mikkel Stoklund said after receiving the prize.

Before going to China, the two students received a travel prize from His Royal Highness Prince Joakim, protector for the Danish “Young Scientist Competition”.
