Due to the heavy rain during the last weeks in Changchun, part of Jingyuetan Park, such as the entries and the roads have been damaged. Unfortunately the park is not in proper condition for the planned event. Now the relevant Changchun Government Jingyuetan Committee is working on rebuilding the park but it won’t be finished in time until end of August. Therefore the Vasa Bike will be postponed to Sep.18th —19th. Also, based on the consideration of the safety and the water temperature in middle of September, and after discussion with Changchun Government, it has been decided that the Vasa Swim and the Vasa Triathlon will be cancelled. To replace the Vasa Swim and the Vasa Triathlon, an Orienteering competition, Vasa Orienteering will be organized instead. A lot of fun as well!
Unfortunately the impact of the recent weather conditions has not been in favor of the event and unfortunately it has been needed to postpone the event. You understanding will be appreciated very much.
