Norwegian saxophonist in concert in Singapore

World-renowned Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek will have a concert in the Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore on March 6, starting 7:30 pm.
     The contemporary jazz musician from Mysen taught himself to play saxophone at age 14, inspired by hearing John Coltrane’s Countdown on the radio. He is today regarded as one of the most original individualists on saxophone to have emerged since the ’70s.
