Sweden’s ambassador to attend the International Day of the Girl

On Friday, October 11, Sweden’s Ambassador to Thailand Klas Molin attended Plan International’s event “Because I am a Girl”, the Embassy wrote on its Facebook-page.

The event celebrated the International Day of the Girl.

Plan International has a long history of promoting the rights of the child in South East Asia.

The Swedish government supports the rights of women and girls around the world. In South East Asia, Sweden’s regional development cooperation stresses the rights of girls and women.
