IKEA Kicks off Christmas Drive

IKEA has begun mailing out a Winter and Seasonal Kitchen Brochure to all Singapore households for customers to browse through a range of ideas and inspiration in preparation for the festive season.

IKEA is also continuing its joint global effort to help fund UNICEF and Save the Children educational projects worldwide with a Soft Toy campaign.

From now till December 24, the company will donate $2 for every soft toy sold in IKEA Singapore to UNICEF and Save the Children education projects under the IKEA Social Initiative.

The initiative funds education projects in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Africa, with proceeds from the annual “One euro is a fortune” campaign.

Since last year, the Soft Toy campaign in Singapore has sold 27,197 soft toys to support 40 programmes in over 20 countries, and provided opportunities for quality education to millions of children.

In addition, IKEA offers a wide range of festive promos and fun store activities at the IKEA Tampines or Alexandra store. Live Scandinavian Christmas trees will be available at IKEA stores from end-November, with prices starting from $49. It also offers special deals every day for 24 days from December 1.

Adding to the festive spirit are fun activities including a Christmas cooking demonstration, face painting for kids, festive paper craft workshop and St. Lucia Parade.
