SBA’s new board identify 2004 top issues

The Swedish Business Association, SBA, in Indonesia held its AGM last week.
Its new board consists of Mr Per Brandt, Perstorp, Chairman; Mr Ilpo Saarisivu, SKF, Vice Chairman; Mr Per Thuresson, Lux, Treasurer; Mr Michael Olsson, BMOlsson, Secretary and Mr Stefan Meurling, Surya, as Auditor.
Three main issues have been identified to specifically pursue by SBA 2004, says Michael Olsson to Scandasia.
First comes the creation of EuroCham.
“SBA is actively working to create a European Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia.”
EU projects are second on the list.
“We will actively participate in several EU financed projects during the year. This includes forestry, labour market and trade information projects,” explains Michael Olsson.
Beefing up the association’s website comes as the third item.
“An increased website with more information about both Sweden and Indonesia is planned during 2004. The internet is viewed as the best media and with Sweden being a leading IT-nation why not?” concludes Michael Olsson.
