Norwegian Companies Help Malaysian Children

The Malaysia Norwegian Business Council (MNBC) held the Waterhole Networking Session on 10 February 2011. About 100 guests gathered at the Norwegian’s Ambassador residence.
       At the session, Ambassador Arild Braastad and his wife Nina handed over the cheque RM 45,000 to Living Hope Malaysia.
       Oyvind Bjorkhaug, president of MNBC, said: “The council wants to support Living Hope’s mission to help poor children living in the outskirts of cities, rural areas and the jungles of Malaysia, primarily in Sarawak.”
       Dr. Peggy Wong, founder and chairman of the Living Hope Malaysia said: “This money will be used to equip rural kindergartens with toys and books. They will be known as Living Hope Toy and Book libraries.”
