Halong culture centre ready in November

Funding from the Norwegian government and Unesco is injected to complete a culture centre in the fishing village Cua Van fishing village in northern Vietnam’s Halong city.
The USD 410,000 centre is one of 12 programmes in the Halong Bay Ecology Museum Project. It will be completed in November this year, reports VNA.
The centre will encourage fishing communities to join efforts preserving the cultural heritage and promote socio-economic development of the bay as well as surrounding areas.
