Tommy and Gun Svensson will for the next three months, from 16 May and until mid-August, be working as temporary new priest and assistant at the Scandinavian Church in Bangkok. During this period, the current priest and assistant, Lennart and Lis Hamark, will have their parental leave followed by their regular summer vacation.
Lis and Lennart’s parental leave is long overdue. If they don’t take this leave now, it will be cancelled when their daughter Miranda turns 8 years in October.
Tommy and Gun Svensson have previously served the Swedish community in Sao Paolo in Brazil as well as the Swedish community in the South of Spain. For the past ten years they have been serving the congretation in Brunnby (Mölle, Arild) in the South of Sweden.
