Scandinavians in SE-Asia can vote in European Parliamentary Elections

On Sunday, 13 June, 2004 election of members of the European Parliament will take place. Danish, Swedish and Finnish citizens may vote in this election provided they are registered and eligible to vote in national parliamentary elections back home.
     Voting may be conducted through postal ballot at all diplomatic and consular representations since Monday, 15 March 2004. There is no deadline for voting by post abroad. However, electors voting by post need to allow sufficient time so that the relevant local authority will receive the ballot before voting is commenced in Europe, i.e. in practice by Friday 11 June 2004 at the latest.
