Sophie Paris Opens Its Doors in Vietnam

Sophie Paris – the leading direct selling fashion company in Asia – on 9 Noevmber 2010 today opened its showroom and proclaimed itself ‘open for members to join’.
At a gala ceremony held at the company’s in-house fashion center in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3, Sophie Paris unveiled a catalogue of over 250 products to members and potential customers.
“We are thrilled to be able to launch our company today,” said company General Director Nick Jonsson.
“Our range of bags, wallets, watches and accessories is unrivaled in Vietnam, with our French designed fashion, competitive pricing and fantastic business opportunity.”
It is easy to see why the company has grown so quickly since its inception in 1996.  With products designed by a French design team led by Mr. Arnaud Roca, the products draw inspiration from some of the world’s leading design and creative geniuses, and are priced to suit local budgets for discerning customers with an eye on their purse strings.
Indeed the scrupulous creative oversees design and sample production for up to 600 bags for each catalogue, an amazing turnaround considering that typically only 80 find their way into final production.
“This is incredible, as we produce a new catalogue every two months, and each catalogue features 40 per cent new styles.  This means the standard of products that reach the market matches the most exacting design and construction standards imaginable,” said Nick.
“Sophie Paris’ range includes products for women, men and children, and are priced to ensure that there is something for everyone,” said Nick.  “We will be running daily fashion shows at our Tran Quoc Toan Street event room, and all are welcome to join the shows and the exciting world of Sophie Paris.”
People who take Nick up on this offer see huge opportunities awaiting, according to President Director Mr Bruno Hasson who said:
“Vietnam offers tremendous opportunities for us as a company, and for a nation of entrepreneurs who stand to benefit from the huge market we see here for our line-up of products.”
With a track record of establishing the company in the Philippines and Morocco as well as Indonesia, the $100 million firm has come to be Asia’s leading fashion company selling direct, with over 100,000 active members worldwide.  Its Vietnam foundation team brings more than 40 years of experience in direct selling to the fast developing South East Asian Nation.
“We enter Vietnam with high hopes and lofty ambitions,” said Mr. Jonsson.  “We are targeting 10,000 members and $2 million of business in our first year.”
Fully certified and recognized by the Direct Selling Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, market reception to the company has been hot, with over 500 members pre-registered for the company.
Indeed faith in the company is contagious, with early adopter Ms. Le Thuy An enthusiastically stating:
“Being one of the first members of Sophie Paris Vietnam I am looking forward to introducing the company’s unique products to everyone. Everyone harbors the desire to beautify themselves, especially the fashion aficionados that will be drawn to Sophie Paris’ products.  I strongly believe that Sophie will make customer’s fashion dreams come true with its lineup, and with its attractive incentive plan, will offer a tremendous businss opportunity for entrepreneurial members.  I would like to wish the team at Sophie Paris Vietnam every success!”
“We are extremely confident that Vietnam will turn a little pinker with us here,” said Mr. Jonsson.
“Our bright branding will be all over the city, and we are sure that our products will be the talk of the town in a very short time.”
