New Board Members of TNCC

Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce’s Annual General Meeting was held 21 March at Sheraton Grande Hotel. A number of new board members were elected or re-elected at the meeting in which about 30 members participated.
 Mr. Petter Børre Furberg from dtac was appointed as the new treasurer. He has taken over after Roar Wiik Andreassen, who has moved back to Norway.
 Mr. Jørn Unneberg will take over as Managing Director in Jotun, and replaces Eric Mallace on the Board. Eric Mallace is moving to Indonesia this summer.
 Mr. Bent Kilsund Axelsen from Yara was elected new member of the Board.
 Mr. Niels Henrik Hansen from SAS was elected as new members of the Board.
 Khun Piyanuj (Lui) from Tilleke & Gibbins was re-elected as a member of the Board.
 Leaving the board was Mr. Jan Egil Amundsen from DNV, Det Norske Veritas.

Axel Blom continues as President
 According to the website norcham.com of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, President Axel Blom stated that he had hoped to resign from the Presidency from this year but strongly encouraged by the board to continue his presidency he had agreed to continue one more period.

The President thanked Jan Egil Amundsen, Roar Wiik Andresassen and Eric Mallace for their contributions to the Board as well as Vibeke Eidsaae Corneliussen as the outgoing Executive Director of the Chamber.


Axel also encouraged members to be more active in the Chamber and to come forward with ideas and suggestions so that the Chamber can deliver added value to the members.
