Indosat signs multimillion USD contract

Indosat, one of the biggest Indonesian telecommunications operators has selected Ericsson to integrate Indosat’s two GSM networks.
     The turnkey contract includes an expansion of network capacity and improved quality within the capital Jakarta and surrounding areas.
     The deal is worth USD 120 million. Part of the package is technology which enables a transition into multimedia services in the upgraded network.
