Swedes in Singapore will this year celebrate their national day, “Swedish Flag Day”, on Sunday, June 6 at the Swiss Club. Like every year, the celebration includes food, drinks, entertainment and activities for adults and kids alike.
The joyous celebration will start at 5:00 pm with an introductory remark and welcome speech by the Swedish Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Teppo Tauriainen. Light Swedish buffet and drinks will then be served, along with music, entertainment and more speeches.
For kids, hotdogs and soft drinks will keep them full and fresh for a number of entertaining games prepared for them by the national day committee, which comprises of the Embassy of Sweden in Singapore, the Swedish Business Association of Singapore (SBAS), the Swedish Church (SKUT), the Swedish Women’s Educational Association (SWEA), and the Swedish School Association.
