The Danish jewelry manufacturer Pandora has taken over all distribution of its products in France and appointed a new country manager. According to the company this will strengthen its position in the French market.
Pandora wrote in a news release that France is Europe’s third largest market for fine jewelry with an estimated retail value of more than EUR 3.5 billion. In 2010, Pandora’s European sales accounted for 43 per cent of Pandora’s revenue or DKK 2.9 billion.
»France is a very interesting market for us because of its role as an influential and inspirational player within fashion and design for consumers and businesses all over the world,« wrote Hans Hornemann, Senior Vice President, Group Sales at Pandora I in a press release.
The new managing director of Pandora France is Patrick Szraga with a proven track record from brands such as Cartier, Piaget and a number of other prestigious jewelry brands.
