Danish Embassy Hosts Energy Management Session

Yesterday, Danish and Chinese companies shared experiences within energy efficiency and management contracting at a match making session at the Danish Embassy in Beijing.

The Danish Embassy in Beijing and Energy Management Contracting Association of China (EMCA) co-hosted a match making event at the Danish Embassy for Chinese and Danish companies to share experiences on energy management and energy saving technologies.

Minister Counsellor Søren Jacobsen from the Danish Embassy delivered an opening speech at the session.

“This session is a great opportunity for Danish and Chinese companies to exchange information on energy efficiency. Denmark keeps a strong global brand on energy efficiency and China has also set high energy efficiency targets. Therefore it is a productive match to pair up Danish and Chinese businesses to share valuable experiences in this field,” says Søren Jacobsen.

Throughout the seminar, five Danish businesses presented their experiences with energy efficiency in buildings, districted heating/cooling and industry production. The Danish businesses are all members of Green China – a business network for Danish energy companies organized by the Danish Embassy.

Three experienced Chinese companies within the energy management contract (EMC) industry shared their insides on the EMC industry in China. In total 12 Chinese companies participated.

The participating Danish companies were: Grundfos, Danfoss, COWI, Novozymes and NNE pharmaplan.
