Swedes Train for Beijing Marathon

The Swedish embassy in Beijing invites Swedish runners at all levels, from beginner to experienced, to train for the upcoming Beijing Marathon with a 10-week running camp through Oct 16. There is a running activity in Chaoyang Park every Sunday from 10 to 11:30 am.
According to China Daily this Sunday, the camp consists of a joint warm-up, technique skills training, group running exercises and workshops to prepare for the Oct 16 race. Runners can choose if they want to run 5, 9, 21 or 42 kilometers, or just train with the group on weekends. The fee for the entire period is 300 yuan ($47), which includes gear and discounts from sponsors Li-Ning and Vitamin Water.
