Software Developer Conexsus Choose Vietnam

According to the online media bernarma.com, Steinar Evensen, Managing Director of Norwegian Conexsus, said that the company is prepared to implement its business plan and aims to turn Vietnam into a gateway to Asia.

Other companies are looking at Vietnam´s IT sector, a few month ago France’s Dassault Systemes, a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management, and Vietnam’s IT giant FPT inked a memorandum of understanding to deliver technological solutions on telecommunications and banking services.

HP Group of the United States has put into operation a software centre in Ho Chi Minh City with a total investment capital of US$18 billion.

If ten years ago Vietnam was absent from the world IT map, the country is now seen as a market holding significant potential by world IT powers such as Japan, the Republic of Korea and India.

In 2010, the IT sector earned about US$2 billion in revenues, a 40-fold increase against 2001, of which the software sector made up 50 percent.
