Leo Pharma in Malaysia Expects 10 pct Growth in 2012

Leo Pharma, an independent research-based pharmaceutical company from Denmark, expects 10 per cent growth in its business in Malaysia during next year. The growth is in line with the expected overall growth of pharmaceutical products in Malaysia next year.
 Leo Pharma’s country manager, Tan Keng Aun, said in an interview with Bernama, that the target was achievable as new products were being introduced, as well as the increase in prices of health products due to higher demand.
 “We are considering launching dermatological products in the next three years,” he told Bernama here Monday.
 Tan said this after the launch of ‘United against Itch’ campaign.
 The campaign aims at creating awareness about itchy skin condition, eczema, one of the most common skin conditions affecting 10 to 20 per cent of children and up to three per cent of adults.
