Norwegian companies urged to combat corruption in the Philippines

Hubert d’Aboville, the President of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, encouraged at a Networking Luncheon organized by the Philippines Norway Business Council the Filipino – Norwegian business community to help eradicate corruption in the Philippines.
 It was only the second Networking Luncheon by the newly established Philippines Norway Business Council (PNBC). Mr Hubert d’Aboville was the keynote speaker of the event for Filipino and Norwegian business representatives.
 The PNBCs Networking Luncheon was attended by almost 40 people, among them the Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines, Mr. Knut Solem.
 Mr. d’Aboville told the participants about the Integrity Pledge, – a multisectoral campaign to combat corruption in the Philippines, and said the PNBC members should join this important initiative.
