For the first time ‘Sino-Danish Acoustics and Sound Technology Forum’ is being held in Guangzhou. A delegation of scientists from Aalborg University and Technical University of Denmark are visiting China to share perspectives on research and development in sound technology with Chinese scientists.
The overall goal with the forum is to enhance the co-operation between Chinese and Danish companies and to ensure business orders to Danish companies and secure Chinese investments in Denmark. An additional purpose is to develop a common research- and education programs in this field between the two countries.
Sound technology is a growth market in China, which is why the Innovation Centre in Shanghai has launched the innovation programme ‘Sound Technology 2.0’, which is going to strengthen the Danish position on this area in China.
China has invested more than 550 million kroner in this project, which is going to run for five years. The next forum will be held by the end of this year or in the beginning of 2012.
