The gymnastics squad, the Flying Superkids from Aarhus, was the only Danish feature at “Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance & Music” in Thailand.
The festival is known for highbrow performances from the classic shelf as “Don Quixote” and “Marriage of Figaro.”
The well-traveled, Aarhus gymnastics squad from Headquarters in Aarhus was visiting Bangkok to give three shows at the festival in Thailand Cultural Centre on September 30 and October 1 2011.
“We were worried that the festival’s regular audience might be a bit too prudish to flying super kids. But several audience members said they had never experienced anything like this, “said the happy Superkids manager Lars Godbersen to Jyllandsposten.
After the three shows, there 24 Superkids had two days of relaxation and sightseeing in the capital of Thailand before returning to Denmark.
