Danish tourist assaulted by lady boy

A Danish tourist assaulted and robbed by a katoey and two accomplices was saved by a good Samaritan.

Dennis Juul Koch, 37, was approached by a ladyboy offering sex as the Dane came out of the Mabel Apartment House on Soi Bukao.

When Koch declined the offer, two friends of the transvestite appeared and wrestled the tourist to the ground, taking his wallet and 10,000 baht. During the struggle, the katoey stabled the victim in the thumb with a knife.

The two attackers fled on a motorbike, but a passerby latched onto the katoey and summoned police.

The ladyboy, who identified herself as Rattree, denied culpability, pointing the finger of blame at the two men who had escaped. However, Koch’s wallet was found in her possession.
