Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark started his busy program in Vietnam on Monday. The first point on his agenda was a visit to Vice President Ngyuen Thi Doan who is his host during the stay in Vietnam, followed by a visit to President Truong Tan Sang.
The Crown Prince is heading a large business delegation of 37 Danish companies and educational institutions. The entire visit, which also includes many cultural activities in Hanoi and HCMC, takes place to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark.
The business promotion has several main themes, in particular green energy and climate protection. In addition several Danish educational institutions take part in the delegation to explore potential cooperation with matching Vietnamese educational institutions.
The Crown Prince opened the seminars and asked interested the many participants about their business opportunities in Vietnam. A large Vietnamese press delegations covers the visit that ends on Thursday.
