Around a hundred invited guests recently took part in the festive celebration of Lucia at the Swedish Residence. Ambassador Ingemar Dolfe warmly welcomed all friends of Sweden and described how the celebration of St. Lucia is traditionally carried out in Sweden
The Swedish Women’s Associations’ Lucia procession entertained with traditional Lucia songs and beautiful Christmas carols.
Many of the Singaporeans had never experienced a Lucia procession before which left them both impressed and moved by the striking ambience created by the choir.
During the mingle session following the Lucia procession, Swedish Christmas delicacies were served.
