Hilton Hotel Singapore is set to serve an authentic Nordic cuisine at Checkers Brasserie come this Christmas season. The hotel will be collaborating with the well-known FINDS restaurant in Hong Kong to put together the Nordic Flair theme.
The buffet and set meals served would include a range of both traditional and modern Nordic cuisine.
Hilton welcomes guests with the home-made Glögg, a traditional Nordic drink served during Christmas holidays. Made of red wine, the drink is mixed with spices, blackcurrant, fresh ginger, lemon and orange peel. As for the children, fresh fruit juice would be served.
One of the highlights mentioned for the Christmas Eve buffet dinner is FINDS signature Beetroot Gravadlax and smoked salmon mousse on malt bread. Also not to be missed are the mustard-marinated herrings and the black Bershire cutlet gratinate.
Chef Alder Wood from Finland has been specially imported to prepare his own version of the Norwegian smoked salmon and hot smoked mackerel salad for the Christmas Day brunch.
The Nordic Flair themed Christmas this year prepared by Hilton is an affair certainly not to be missed.
