A new partnership agreement has been signed between Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Oslo Metropolitan University.
The new partnership agreement focuses on digitalisation of the construction sector, in which Norway has leading expertise and technology.
The Civil Engineering Faculty also entered into a separate agreement with a Norwegian company, Catenda, to cooperate on the Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
BIM is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.
The Norwegian Embassy in Hanoi attended the signing ceremony of the partnership:
“The transfer of technology is the future! The Norwegian Embassy is looking very much forward to following these partnerships”, said Ms Anne Havn, First Secretary of the Norwegian Embassy.
