Jazz fans in Hong Kong will be delighted to hear that Swedish Anders Bergcrantz Quartet East will give two concerts in HongKong this week. The concerts will be at Fringeclub and Backstage on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 December.
Anders Bergcrantz, rated as …one of the finest trumpeters in Europe, will be joined on stage by pianist and composer Anna-Lena Laurin,who was just awarded the “Jazz Cat” (Sweden´s most prestigious jazz music prize), the Swedish music promoter and former Hong Kong nester Rickard Malmsten on bass and last but not least drummer Jack Gregmninger. The concert is sponsored by the Consulate General of Sweden.
