“Art has no borders.”
With this icebreaker the Deputy Head of Mission, Anders L. Graugaard, delivered the keynote speech on Saturday at the opening of the Duo Art Exhibition “I-solated Beings” at the S.A.C. Subhashok The Arts Centre.
The recurring motif were the close ties between the two Kingdoms that goes back four centuries. History holds unique stories due to brave and talented countrymen – Thai and Danes – who joined forces and accomplished great things. This weekend artists and guests from Denmark and Thailand came together to celebrate art and cultural exchanges.
Andreas Schulenburg brought his artwork to Bangkok to share it with the audiences here. From now and until April 22, he will exhibit his pieces together with fellow artist Torlarp Larpjaroensook from Thailand.
