On Friday November 29 Thai-Danish Chamber of Commerce held the annual Christmas Lunch, which they in their invite had called “the biggest and most-anticipated event of the year”.
That would unavoidable raise the guests’ expectations prior to the event, but as the day ran of it turned out to fulfill them all.
The venue for the Christmas Lunch was the Royal Danish Embassy at Sathorn soi 1, and after registration the 160 attending guests, they were seated to enjoy traditional Danish Christmas food.
For a couple of hours the guests worked hard on getting through an abundance of herrings, liver paté, bacon and a lot of other unavoidable Christmas food plus an uncountable number of Carlsberg beers.
Meanwhile the River Light Band contributed with pleasant Christmas-ish background music, which made it a bit easier to actually think at Christmas, even though the sun was shinning a lot that day.
The rumors said that last year the Ambassador Mikael Hemniti Winther performed on his own guitar, so many were happy about seeing him entering the stage to once again entertain with a few songs.
