The Danish Church in Thailand will mark Denmark’s flag day for deployed personnel and veterans with a service in Bangkok on Sunday, 6 September.

The service will also be the church’s first after its summer break. It begins at 11.00 at the Danish Church and Cultural Centre in central Bangkok.

Denmark observes the official flag day on 5 September each year. The day honours current and former deployed personnel and recognises their contributions and sacrifices.

Pastor Nicolaj Stubbe Hørlyck will lead the service. Thai musicians will provide the music.

Afterwards, Danske Veteraner Thailand will sponsor a free Danish lunch for those attending. The event is open to everyone, including people who have not served abroad.

Registration is required.

More information and registration are available on the Danish Church in Thailand’s website.
