On 5 June, The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing celebrated the Danish constitution day, marking the establishment of Denmark as a constitutional monarchy.
The commemoration of the anniversary of the Danish constitution that turned Denmark into a democracy was celebrated together with partners from the Chinese administration, the Chinese business community, the diplomatic community in Beijing and many partners from the Chinese civil society.
The Danish ambassador to China Friis Arne Petersen, could welcome more than 300 excited guests for the event, underscoring the very special relationship between Denmark and China that this year celebrates the 65 year anniversary of diplomatic relations.
