Danish PPP investment round table held in Vietnam

A round table discussion on a blended finance model solution for a public private partnership investment within the water sector in Vietnam took place on 9 Ocober under the co-organisation of the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam, Grundfos, the Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU), Vietnam Water Supply and Sewage Association (VWSA) and Asia Society for Social Improvement & Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST).

The Partnership for Blended Finance on Water focuses on Vietnam’s drinking water infrastructure by developing blended finance models for bigger investments in the sector. Such investments will support technologies and practices that reduce the percentage of non-revenue generating water from 22 % to a goal of 15 % by 2025. This will also lead to a reduction in energy consumption.

Being one of 18 partnership projects supported by the Partnering for Green Growth and Global Goals (P4G), its initial results will be published during the P4G summit held in Copenhagen from October 19th-20th.
