Two leading Danish musicians, Kira Skov and Michael Rexen, will perform in China for the first time as part of celebrations marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and China. The tour includes five cities and a concert in Shanghai on 6 November.

Kira Skov, a prominent figure in Denmark’s indie music scene and multiple Danish Music Award winner, is known for her emotive vocal style and experimental approach. Michael Rexen brings a blend of folk and spiritual influences, and the tour marks the international debut of his first album released under Danish jazz label Sundance Music.

The performances are supported by an ensemble of Danish musicians and coordinated by Peter Littauer of Sundance Music, aiming to introduce contemporary Nordic sound to Chinese audiences.

The Shanghai concert will take place at Ark Livehouse in Hongkou District, with Skov performing at 7.30pm and Rexen at 9pm. Tickets start at RMB 280.
