The Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam is hosting two public talks titled “The Future of Fashion: A Conversation on Sustainability”, one in Hanoi on Friday 17 October 2025 and another in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday 19 October 2025.

As the fashion industry faces growing pressure to adapt to climate challenges, the events will highlight how sustainability is shaping the future of fashion — both globally and in Vietnam’s vibrant creative scene.
Organized in partnership with Net Zero Vietnam, the discussions will bring together leading voices from the Nordic and Vietnamese fashion industries, including:
-
Evelina Danielsson Valladares, Senior Sustainability Manager at Copenhagen Fashion Week,
-
Vu Thao, founder and creative director of Kilomet109,
-
Nguyen Lien Chi, Editorial Director at ELLE Vietnam, and
-
Alexandra Mornet, Director of Sustainability Crafting & Supply at Pandora.
Topics will include opportunities for Vietnamese brands to enter global markets sustainably, lessons from Copenhagen Fashion Week’s pioneering sustainability framework, and how global brands such as Pandora integrate recycled materials and ethical sourcing.
The first event takes place from 13:00–16:00 on Friday 17 October at Complex01, Tây Sơn Street, Hanoi, and the second from 13:15–16:15 on Sunday 19 October at Art Hub – Family Garden, Thảo Điền, Ho Chi Minh City.
