The Danish Embassy in China took part in the EU Culture Street 2025 in Chengdu over the weekend, joining thousands of visitors in celebrating European culture and values.
At the Danish booth, guests were invited to experience elements of Danish lifestyle, from a sustainability-themed quiz to an immersive VR cycling tour through Denmark’s scenic landscapes. Participants who completed the quiz — which focused on Danish culture and green living — received prizes such as Carlsberg beer, Danisa butter cookies, and Arla Cocio chocolate milk.
The event marked the opening of the 2025 Chengdu Europe Culture Season and coincided with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. It was organized by the Delegation of the European Union to China.
According to the embassy, the Danish presence aimed to promote Denmark’s commitment to sustainability and its well-known cycling culture.
