Two Thai-Swedish footballers, Aricha “Siri” Sirichang and Matilda Mårtensson, participated in the Thailand women’s national team training camp held at Jaifah Academy in Lopburi, which concluded on April 2, 2025.
Aricha “Siri” Sirichang is a Midfielder and plays for Mariestads BoIS FF in Sweden. Matilda Mårtensson is a Left Winger and plays for Timrå IK in Sweden.
The national team is preparing for the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualification tournament, scheduled from June 23 to July 5, 2025. Thailand is placed in Group B alongside India, Mongolia, Timor-Leste, and Iraq, with all matches to be held in Thailand.
This qualification tournament also serves as the initial stage for Asian qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in Brazil from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
