Denmark’s Malaysia ambassador climbed Mount Kinabalu

Diplomats need to see things from above – sense the lay of the land. So on Sunday, June 24, our Ambassador Jesper Vahr, together with Ambassador Postl of Austria and UN Resident Coordinator Priesner, hiked to the top of Mount Kinabalu at 4,095 metres – often described as the highest peak in geographical Southeast Asia, reported the Danish Embassy in Malaysia.

The three Ambassadors seized the opportunity to promote UN’s global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), many of which are of direct importance to preserving this unique Malaysian World Heritage site.
