This afternoon, 18 June 2017, Falck Global Assistance, will open a new 24/7 emergency response centre in Bangkok. With the opening, Falck Global Assistance has established a hub for its expanding activities in Southeast Asia.
Since its establishment in 2009, Falck Global Assistance has been growing rapidly. The opening in Bangkok is the third location in Asia and shows the company’s commitment to expanding in the region. The company provides medical assistance and emergency evacuations for roughly half of travellers out of Scandinavia. The new 24/7 emergency response centre shows how important the company views the Asian market for its future growth opportunities.

Each year, the 700 employees of the company handle 300,000 cases, including more than 6,000 medical evacuations. The medical network of Falck Global Assistance includes 60,000 providers all over the world. Initially, 20 people will assist travellers out of the emergency response centre in Bangkok 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
