Finland’s 100 years independence will be celebrated in Vietnam

The Embassy of Finland in Hanoi, Vietnam is organising a commemorative in correlation with Finland’s 100th independence day next year.

“Vietnam’s socio-economic development plans had achieved outstanding results including a complete education system reform, a stronger emphasis on environmental and climate sustainability, more involvement of the private sector in development creating conditions for start-up, and innovation of an eco-system development,” said Ilkka-Pekka Similä, Finland’s ambassador to Vietnam.

Besides the celebration of independence, Vietnam and Finland will also commemorate their co-operation in regards to the forest sector. Companies and experts will meet to share data and expertise on forest management.

Finnish-Vietnamese Innovation Partnership Programme will organise an innovation and start-up event in the light of Vietnam’s government awarding the Finnish government for great results in the development of Vietnam’s innovation system.
