Finnish Contemporary Lithography comes to Bangkok

After a display at Met Museum in Manila, the Philippines, the acclaimed lithography works by Finnish artists will take Bangkok art scene by storm throughout January.
The art exhibition ‘Contemporary Lithography from Finland’ will be displayed at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) on 12 January 2013.

Artits Maija Albrecht, Kalle Berg, Matti Hintikka, Valpuri Kylmänen, Kuutti Lavonen, Tapani Mikkonen, Kaisu Sirviö and Miikka Vaskola showcase their latest works. All the artists use the same lithography workshop Helsinki Litho. They make their art independently, drawing on the traditions and potentials of the lithography technique. The exhibition also reflects the high, autonomous status of printmaking in contemporary art in Finland.

Contemporary Lithography fom Finland -exhibition is open for public 12 January – 3 February 2013 in the 3rd and 4th floors of BACC. Address of BACC is 939 Rama 1 road, Pathumwan. Centre is easily reached from National Stadium BTS station.

Artist Ms Valpuri Kylmänen and Mr Kalle Berg will present the exhibion. Time is to be confirmed later
